TVA Coaching Clinics – 3 levels

Volleyball Coaching Clinic – Level 1

At the Volleyball Coaching Clinic, coaches will learn all aspects of the game from basic serve-receive patterns, to the more advanced systems of attack used at the elite high school “&” club levels. There will be live demonstrations of over 50 drills by a local HS varsity team.  Coaches will also have the opportunity to get on the court to see the drills/rotations/volleyball concepts first-hand. Each coach will receive a Coaching Manual that includes the complete clinic notes and list of drills. Coaches are encouraged to bring their entire staff for continuity (each additional coach is at a discount).

Intermediate Coaching Clinic – Level 2

The Intermediate Coaching Clinic will be a combination of skills/drills and volleyball theory.  Coaches will learn some drills & philosophies of top coaches while watching a live demonstration of all drills by a High School Varsity team.  Coaches can choose to from 2 “break out” sessions for the final hour of the clinic – 1)drills to develop skills & competitive spirit, or 2)basic volleyball theory (out-coaching your opponent, scouting, statistics, rotational problems).  Each coach will receive a clinic manual full of information on all these topics.  This clinic is aimed at the coaches who want to know more about the sport both from a practical standpoint (drills/teaching skills) and from an academic approach (volleyball theory).

Advanced Coaching Clinic – Level 3

The Advanced Coaching Clinic will pick up where the intermediate course leaves off.  Coaches will learn the theories and strategies of the elite volleyball programs from high school to the collegiate level.  The clinic will include segments on: in-game adjustments, serving strategies, attack patterns & sets, blocking strategies, systems of defense, and how to scout opponents.  Each coach will get a clinic manual full of information on all these topics.  This clinic is aimed at the elite high school varsity, club or college level programs.
